Deer Lakes HS Band Programs Announce Spring Trip
The Deer Lakes HS Band Programs will be offering a Spring Trip to participants in any of the HS performing ensembles. Those ensembles include: Marching Band, Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble. PMEA Disrtict I East Band Festival
The Deer Lakes Band Programs is proud to announce that two students were selected and will be participating in the 2014 PMEA District I East Band Festival this weekend at Penn Hills HS. Sophomores Chloe Dauer (percussion) and Jake Davis (trumpet) will be performing in concert on Saturday, February 8th at 2:00pm in the Penn Hills HS Auditorium. Congratulations to both students as they represent the quality music education that is coming out of the Deer Lakes Band Programs.
Deer Lakes Withdraws from TRWEA Competition @ Norwin HS
THe Deer Lakes MSWG will be withdrawing from the TRWEA Competition at Norwin HS this Saturday, February 8th due to school cancellations and missed rehearsal time. In place of the previously scheduled performance, the MSWG will be holding a day-camp / rehearsal from 9am-4pm at the high school. Please remember to pack your child a lunch as there will be a 1-hour lunch break scheduled into the daily itinerary.
