6th grade ensembleThe 6th grade ensemble is the Middle School's introductory ensemble. This is the first time that students will rehearse in a large-group setting on a day-to-day basis. The ensemble rehearses together five days a week and performs two concerts annually. Their participation in the Holiday Winter Concert and the Spring Concert provide real life performance opportunities for students.
In addition to the ensemble performance requirements, these students are given the option to participate in the annual Homecoming festivities which include marching in the Homecoming Parade as well as on-field performances with the Deer Lakes HS Marching Band. |
